PAV BHAJI
Pav bhaji is a fast food dish from India consisting of a thick vegetable curry served with a soft bread roll. Its origins are in the state of Maharashtra. In Hindi and Marathi languages, the word “Pav” is for bread rolls. “Bhaji” means vegetables or a vegetable based dish (dry or gravy) . It is one of the famous. Here is the recipe.
Ingredients
Tomatoes- 3(medium)
Beetroot- 1(small)
Carrot- 1(small)
Potatoe- 3(medium)
Green peas- 1 cup
Coriander- 1 cup
Capsicum- 1 cup
Onion- 1 cup
Green chillies- ½ cup
Pav bhaji masala (ready-to-cook packet)

Oil
Jeera
HOW TO COOK?
Vegetable preparation
Add two tablespoon of oil on a hot cooker
Add one spoon of Jeera
Add Pav Bhaji Masala
Add chopped tomatoes
Add a small chopped carrot and beetroot (for colour)
Add one cup of green peas and fry them for five to ten minutes
After three minutes add two glass of water into it and wait for a few minutes, after closing the lid of the cooker, wait till the whistle comes
Pav Masala Preparation
Take a big pan for masala preparation
Add one or three tablespoon of oil
Add three tablespoon of butter
Add one cup of chopped capsicum and onion
Fry them in high flame
Fry them until it becomes pinkish in colour
Add one spoon of salt, two spoon of pav bhaji masala, one spoon of Kashmiri chilli, ½ cup of coriander leaves and add one spoon of butter on top of it and heat it on high flame.
After a few minutes, add half a lemon’s juice on top of it ( make sure that the juice of it is not too sour in taste) and mix it well.
Add one glass of water.
Last but not the least!
Add the masala (prepared) into the vegetables, which were prepared in the cooker.
After five minutes, smash the vegetables and then add one glass of water and boil it for two minutes.
Pav
Heat the pan and add butter, coriander leaves(a pinch) and add the masala( which was prepared) a spoonful
Then heat the pavs on top of it.
Before Serving
Before serving, keep the full prepared masala on to the stove in high flame and add ½ of water.
And now your delicious Pav Bhaji is ready to serve
(Note: the measurement given above is to make it for four to five members in a family)
