 How to make Chicken Dum Biriyani



Hello everyone we can start making a super tasty dish for our lunch that is Chicken Dum Biriyani. 

The ingredients needed are:-

·        Chicken -                                   1kg

·        Kashmiri chilli powder-        1 TBSP

·        Turmeric powder-                 2TSP

·        Salt-                                           As needed

·        Garam masala-                       1 TBSP

·        Curd-                                         1TBSP

·        Lemon juice-                           2TBSP

·        Onion-                                       5

·        Ginger-                                      A small piece

·        Green Chilli-                             3

·        Garlic                                         15

·        Tomato                                     2

·        Mint leaves                              As needed

·        Coriander leaves                    As needed

·        Curry leaves                            As needed

·        Sunflower oil                           As needed

·        Ghee                                          As needed

·        Raisins                                       As needed

·        Cashew Nut                             As needed

·        Cardamom                               8

·        Clove                                         8

·        Cinnamon                                1

·        Milk                                            4 TBSP

·        Carrot                                        Half

·        Water                                        5TBSP

·        Sugar                                         1pinch

·        Jeerakasaala rice                    3 cups+4 ½ water

 

Instructions

Marinate the chicken by adding Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, Garam masala, Salt, Curd and lemon juice mix and keep it for one hour. Saute crushed ginger and garlic in sunflower oil and ghee and add some clove, cinnamon and cardamom. Add the soaked rice and water and cook it for 20 minutes. Fry 1 chopped onion, curry leaves, cashew and raisins in sunflower oil and ghee until it turns brown. Now fry the marinated chicken. Saute 4 onions, green chilli, ginger garlic paste and tomato and add some turmeric powder and salt. Now add a grinded paste of coriander leaves, mint leaves and curry leaves to the sauted mixture. Add some water water and sugar. Add the fried chicken to the sauted mixture and cook it for 5 minutes. Now it’s time to garnish! Chop some carrot coriander leaves, mint leaves and curry leaves. Take another pan add some ghee add a part of the cooked rice then chicken add milk all the chopped items and cover it with the remaining part of the rice. Heat it
